Summary and Responsibilities:
A payroll professional responsible for coordinating the analysis preparation and inputting of all payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely payroll; promotes quality services in accordance with established agency policies and procedures, assuring the quality and growth of the agency; complies with federal, state, and local guidelines for all services.
- Payroll responsibilities:
- Collect and review all payroll data prior to submission
- Resolve day to day payroll issues and adjustments as they arise
- Work closely with the company's HR department to ensure the integrity of the payroll process
- Generates reports from various information systems as directed by the Director of Systems Management and Utilization and Director of Finance
- Maintains administrative records
- Participates in personal and professional growth and development
- Responsible for providing the positive model for the team through effective self-management and leadership
- Maintains current knowledge of industry and agency guidelines
- Seeks additional training/education as determined by self-assessment and manager
- Fulfills additional performance responsibilities as assigned and as necessary
- Willingly accepts additional job responsibilities, as appropriate, to meet business goals/objectives
- Demonstrates flexibility in order to maximize the number of hours worked
- Performs additional duties as needed and requested
Qualification Requirements:
- • Must possess one to three (1-3) years' payroll management and MS Great Plains experience
